Adi Roiban is well known in the Ubuntu Translations Community for his continuous drive for improvement and insightful views towards making Ubuntu available in everyone's own language. Always willing to help, he'll probably be the first one to answer any question related to translations.

Being involved in a myriad of initiatives around Ubuntu and Free Software, it is difficult to summarise all his excellent work, since Adi seems to be just everywhere! His main areas of interest are internationalization and localization, along with LoCo activities. Just to give a sample of his community involvement: he leads the Romanian LoCo and Localization teams, founded and still coordinates the Romanian Free Software Group (Grupul pentru Software Liber), is responsible for organizing several FLOSS events in Romania, provides Launchpad Translations support in the Launchpad Answers section, submits and triages internationalization bugs, and is a prominent member of the Ubuntu Translation Coordinators team.

He is a regular attendee to UDS and many other Free Software conferences, in which not only his great ideas and feedback are consistently a valuable contribution, but he is also a very friendly and approachable chap, who'll always receive you with a big smile. If you are attending any of those events chances are that you'll meet him, so please take the opportunity to thank him and give him a big hug!
