Christophe is great in every possible way. He's helpful, involved in many different parts of ubuntu, and more generally: 2+ meters of French awesome.

Going by the nick huats, he's based in Toulouse, France and also is team contact for the French Loco. He started helping out in the team doing French translations and among other things he maintained the French LoCo web site. He is always around in cases of emergencies in the team, where he is affectionately referred to as "lé president".

Not only is he busy in the LoCo world, he's doing lots in the MOTU community as well, especially as one of the driving forces behind the MOTU Mentoring Reception. When working on packages, he's often found to chat with Sébastien Bacher about Desktop packages.

You don't find a friendly guy such as Christophe very often, he's a true friend. Here's the insightful comments Cesare Tirabassi has to make: "I had the luck of mentoring Christophe on his first packaging bug. I kept asking things and he simply kept doing them, well and without a complaint ... amazing work! He has been active in the MOTU community and as a sponsor I have witnessed the quality of his work improving consistently. Christophe is always available, also when he doesn't have the time, and his positive, friendly and helpfull attitude is a great asset to the community. Unfortunately he also likes pizza but I guess nobody can be perfect."
