Harald Sitter is our first Austrian addition to Ubuntu's Hall of Fame. He is one of the most active contributors to Kubuntu and KDE in general. If it's working on bugs, updating packages, giving talks or just being the great guy that helps you find your first steps, he's simply always around. This time we decided to ask around a bit and see what people have to say about him.

Here's what Jonathan Riddell has to say " Harald is a legend, followed everywhere by groups of screaming fans who's sole delight in life is for his (PGP) signature. The achievements he creates are legend. He has led the effort to get KDE packages for Ubuntu packaged by a team of elite ninjas. His ability to triage beasties is up in the top league. He supports Kubuntu throughout the German speaking user community and beyond. In a past life he took Amarok from being a feature filled free software music player to being the world's most popular feature filled free software music player. He shows off his feminine side through his love of Ruby jewelery which he wears in bracelets and necklaces leaving a trail of these precious stones in scripts wherever he walks."

In an interview Harald once said he'd probably sleep in cafés if they wouldn't close for the night. Now you know where to best watch out for him!
