Mackenzie Morgan has participated in a wide range of different parts of our bustling community. She has been actively involved as an Ubuntu Developer and Bug Control. Not only does she bring her energy and contributions to Ubuntu, but her bubbly personality is an inspiration to us all. It is people like Mackenzie that make Ubuntu a fun place to be.

Never one to rest in her comfort zone, Mackenzie is currently persuing MOTU membership, learning GTK+, has dabbled in audio, and is is currently being mentored by Andrew Whitcroft with regards to ACPI & hotkeys. In addition to this, her contributions to the QA Team has involved her joining the Bug Control team and participating in 5-A-Day. Her 5-A-Day contributions has resulted in her touching a whopping 1000+ bugs.

Of course, Mackenzie doesn't stop there. She has brought her unbridled energy and enthusiasm to the advocacy and support of Ubuntu with the Washington, DC LoCo. She has also submitted some Japanese translations and just for good measure served as a moderator on the Ubuntu Forums. And while she performs this work Mackenzie attends George Washington University in Washington, DC studying Computer Science with a concentration on computer security and information assurance.
